Washington, D.C. (February 9, 2015) – Waste Control Specialists (WCS) announced today that it had submitted its notice of intent to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) seek a license for an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) at its Andrews, Texas facility. WCS officials said the application would be on file at the NRC by April of 2016.
